Small Things Matter! Checklist
From Getting Ready to Reception, let’s check that you are ready for fun and stunning photos!
Check your Getting Ready Spaces and have at least one side of the room free of clutter
Check if your dress and veil need some steaming
Check your shoes if they need traction stickers on the bottom (some shoes can be very slippery)
Have your invitations, jewelry, perfume, flowers, and anything for flatlays in one box.
Keep any loose flowers in the box for flatlays.
Check ALL SATIN and cotton things (pajamas, dresses…) for creases. They WILL BE VISIBLE in photos if left without steaming. Having two steamers on-site always helps!
Check table linens. They can be full of creases. Use a steamer if needed
Wearing a pendant? Make sure to have eyelash glue. Pendants tend to slide around your neck. Dab some glue on the back of your neck and press your jewelry in place.
Having candles? Make sure you tell me where a liter is so that I can light up the candles for detail shots when needed.
Don’t forget multiple long lighters if you have sparkler exit on your schedule.

Aspirin or any pain reliever
At least one steamer
Eyelash glue
Security pin
Deodorant
Crochet hook for little dress buttons
Bandaids
Extra copy of your wedding vows
Black ink pen
Tissues
Bug spray (for all warm weather events)
Breath mints
Wet wipes/wipes
Pantyliners/tampons
Q-tips (can help if cry, to keep your face makeup-smudge-free)
Nail clippers / press-on nails if they match your manicure
Bobby pins
Hair spray
Hairbrush
Body tape (especially if you have an open decollete, open shoulders, or a slit dress)
